The real life murder of 23 year old Rachel Nickell, who was brutally killed in front of her young son back in 1992.
The story, is harrowing, I would have been twelve when it happened, but I never forgot the crime, nobody will forget the pictures of Rachel, a beautiful young woman, a sickening act.
It's a very strong start, a high quality production, it is intense and unforgiving. Those with a sensitive nature may well find some of the dialogue upsetting.
Terrific acting here, Niamh Algar and Eddie Marsan are both outstanding, there is a degree of sincerity in each of their performances.
The music is awesome, spot on production values too, they really did manage to capture the spirit and the vibe of 1992.
A very strong start 8/10.
