Ann Widdicombe should be deprived of the oxygen of publicity. Actually, deprived of oxygen generally. Judgemental, patronising, over-opinionated, self righteous, she shleps around a model prison, ignoring successes in the most part. The UK prison system is appalling, something that Widdicombe staunchly ignores. To be fair, in the latter stages of this documentary, she seems to acknowledge that Halden is a success, but watching her get to this position is a painfully protracted process. Wrong presenter for what have been a positive approach for the issues. Louis Theroux next time please.
