This makes two straight episodes in which shy, prim Mary has blossomed, calling for my second consecutive review. This time it's working her way into a trio of high-profile glamor gals who are all the rage in Toronto like Flapper-era Kardashians. She drinks; she dances; she's at the best society parties with her photo in the papers; she even (gasp!) shows more leg. C'MON SPINOFF!!

Wrong flash bulbs

A technical error. The photographer girl wanting to take photos of the Flapper girls using an Graphflex camera and flash, which is more or less correct, but... having used such things, the flash gun was loaded with a GE5B bulb. BLUE 5B bulbs were colour corrected to match daylight, when shooting with colour film. That blue filter did cost a stop or so of output light from the bulb, which is why we also used clear bulbs for B&W work.. After she takes the photo, they flash a Black and White image on the screen. Totally wrong, Prop department should go out and get some clear bulbs. They are on Ebay...
