This episode was medicore. Nothing groundbreaking happened and even though they moved with the storyline it still feels like nothing happened to me.
Brainy and Lena were the highlight of the episode. Love that friendship and can't wait to see more of it. They are so similar and they understand each other so well. It's heartwarming to watch.
Lena left Luthorcorp. Good. She deserves better, she knows she deserves better and she is able to create her own legacy from scratch. I am so sick of Lex.
Alex asking Kelly to move in together was a cute moment but it was overshadowed by the show revealing (via Kelly) that yet another Kelly scene was cut. Why couldn't we see the despair she was talking about?
I'm bored by the Phantom Zone storyline. I know it's a must because Melissa was on maternity leave and they had to figure out something but I just really need Kara to be back with the gang already. I hate this separation.
I didn't miss Catco at all. It's a shame Nia wasn't in the episode but I am so glad that we were spared the unnecessary and irrelevant scenes of William and Andrea. No one wants to see them. And that episode perfectly showed that we don't need them.
I'm so annoyed by the show not letting Lena acknowledge Kara's absence. The "me too" was not enough. Lena not being an absolute mess because of Kara being stuck in the PZ is just not realistic. Why are you so afraid to show it?
All in all, the episode was OK. But I did expect something more. Maybe my disappointment is just my fault. Maybe I should stop counting on this show delivering satisfactory and true to character storylines.
