Not good but not bad either
shipperofships14 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was medicore. Nothing groundbreaking happened and even though they moved with the storyline it still feels like nothing happened to me.

Brainy and Lena were the highlight of the episode. Love that friendship and can't wait to see more of it. They are so similar and they understand each other so well. It's heartwarming to watch.

Lena left Luthorcorp. Good. She deserves better, she knows she deserves better and she is able to create her own legacy from scratch. I am so sick of Lex.

Alex asking Kelly to move in together was a cute moment but it was overshadowed by the show revealing (via Kelly) that yet another Kelly scene was cut. Why couldn't we see the despair she was talking about?

I'm bored by the Phantom Zone storyline. I know it's a must because Melissa was on maternity leave and they had to figure out something but I just really need Kara to be back with the gang already. I hate this separation.

I didn't miss Catco at all. It's a shame Nia wasn't in the episode but I am so glad that we were spared the unnecessary and irrelevant scenes of William and Andrea. No one wants to see them. And that episode perfectly showed that we don't need them.

I'm so annoyed by the show not letting Lena acknowledge Kara's absence. The "me too" was not enough. Lena not being an absolute mess because of Kara being stuck in the PZ is just not realistic. Why are you so afraid to show it?

All in all, the episode was OK. But I did expect something more. Maybe my disappointment is just my fault. Maybe I should stop counting on this show delivering satisfactory and true to character storylines.

LENIAC - Now, there's a shipping to root for!
Icelander6726 May 2021
Lena and Brainiac, now there's a pairing that actually MAKES SENSE, whereas that badly written/acted, ridiculous Dreamer character makes for just the opposite - and as any sensible person of the _real_ world knows, the whole "Opposites attract" is a cliched myth!

Right, back to my only remaining reason for still be watching this show: To see these most cerebral intellectuals of the lot getting some tough lessons in (and learning the value of) what's now being called "Emotional intelligence" was easily the absolute highlight of this episode, and then some. And both the actors really seemed to really relish in finally getting something meaty to chew on, with top notch performances on both parts.

As for the rest, then well... I've already forgotten anything else from this episode...

This season is shaping up to be a great one
ldamena14 April 2021
Or the final season the writers are really putting out all the stops. The first 3 episodes of S6 have been some of the best of the series. The acting, the emotional punches the eps have left me with and some of the twists are A+. Love how it's showing that no matter what that Kara is always that beacon of light shinning hope on all of us and that's what makes her a great hero. She never loses her strength/fight, no matter what she faces. I love Supergirl more because of that. I also feel like all the other characters except Lex and William have hit their peak and have great character development and maturity. That is great to see.

Wooden Katie Mcgrath
matthewtaylor698 August 2021
The writing and action is poor and is getting worse. The worst element is Katie McGrath's one dimensional wooden aweful 'acting'.

Beautiful Character Development!!!!
gymmonkey-3449014 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I love this show for so many reasons but it's been lacking good character development, this time around it was absolutely perfect!!! The Dansen scenes were beautiful and they got a good amount of screen time this episode which was exciting! Lena leaving Luthorcorp for her self was absolutely perfect and great for her, and the "Me too" was just beautiful and sad all at once. Brainy had some beautiful scenes as well and this episode makes it appear that it's shaping up to be an amazing season!!

I honestly didn't expect anything and they surprised me.
mgarcia_14 April 2021
This episode started slow however the plot was starting to be very good, all the moments of the characters were emotional, but my favorite scenes were those of Lena and Brainy, Jesse and Katie took the episode completely with their amazing performances. Seeing Dansen have time was amazing. A great chapter and unnecessary characters not showing up was the best thing.

Best episode of the season?
uunknown-6123912 May 2021
This episode really touched me, I could feel the pain radiating off of Brainy. A big thanks for Jesse's amazing performance and portrayal of Brainy. The moment he had with Lena about their feelings for Kara was out of this world. Touching into those feelings has really allowed for this show to grow both for the characters and for the audience as well.

I don't think "we" means what you think it means.
Gislef14 April 2021
To the "reviewer" who posts "reviewing" the episode before it airs, some of "we" would rather have Jon Cryer as Lex. He's the best thing on the show currently, and tonight is no exception. The Kara/Lena relationship was old-hat last season: it hasn't improved substantially this season, except they've reconciled their difference.

As for whether a writer reads opinions, it probably depends on whether you actually use the review section to "review" the episode or not. :)

As to the episode itself, the Lex/Lena and Lena/Brainy scenes were good. But do we really need a _tenth_ main character? Three of them couldn't show up this week, and so they added a tenth?!? I wouldn't mind, but she doesn't add anything so far to the show.

Excellent Episode
videntur23 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This was an excellent episode. Melissa was great in it and I liked the way the writers were able to add scenes with SuperGirl in this episode throughout. The character of Nyxly was great. She seemed so nice at the beginning. Either way she was a great help to SuperGirl and an enjoyable character to watch. I think that so far out of the 7 episodes shown for season 6, this is the best one so far.
