"Kak kazaki v futbol igrali" is an 18-minute animated short film and one of a series of films that elaborates on how Cossacks deal with several situations. This one here is about football, or what Americans know as soccer. It is all light-hearted and never mean-spirited. Cossacks play against 3 different teams here and all have their own mannerisms and quirks. Will they succeed? Of course, only question is how. It is difficult for me to say which segment I liked the most, but maybe the last with the English. It was a decent watch without any greatness from start to finish and I recommend checking it out. Another pretty funny Soviet cartoons, there's quite a few out there. Good thing here is no dialogue which means no matter where you come from and what your native language is, you can enjoy this one. Thumbs up for the two Vladimirs who made this one.
