A wonderful story about a hidden truth
citcatgh12 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This film is about truth, manipulation and a family secret. It showcases parts of the art industry that is greatly overlooked and forgotten. The film showcases this fact in a manner that is both interesting, truthful and respectful.

Spoiler: Roman Lapshin, Erin Harris, Billie Mintz and crew did an amazing job showcasing the art, work and love of Roman's grandfather, Vladimir Dvorkin.

He deserves to atleast get the art credit and have his truth told to the world. And Roman successfully did that in a way that encaptures the audience and places a spotlight on an wonderful family story.

I am sorry you could not get any originals from Oz and it personally amazes me that you were able too give Oz sympathy despite his lack of empathy for Roman, Vladimir and other artists (his quote in the film). I don't blame Roman for wanting to just take his grandfather work, as the viewer I thought the same thing. Though due to an obvious and sudden time crunch and Roman sticking to his moral ground, he didn't.

Overall, his final message was powerful. Roman did his grandfather a magnificent justice by telling his story and a large part of his livelihood that has been hidden from the world. This film gives Vladimir the credit he rightly deserves.
