Women from North Africa presenting pieces of their tough lives. In some measure, the same story, again and again- forced marriage , at 14 years old age, difficult life, France as best solution, children, grandchildren, a pilgrinage at Lourdes and one at Mecca, modest jobs of husbands and their oppression , widows and dedicated to family or community.

Sure, far to be original stories but profound touchings , seductive for fw scenes ( from the cat on bed to Victoria of Samotrace ) and useful not as feminist manifesto but as profound moving confessions about forms of survive.

Ordinaries lives.

Nothing special but, out doubts, all high precious.

Because it is not only the stories of Maghrebian women but a portrait, precise, delicate, col in some moments, of many daughters, mothers, wives from different points of the world .
