Another Brilliant Episode

It has up's and down's and it definitely shows why 9-1-1 is a brilliant show. Loads to laugh at but the story with Chris and Eddie really pulled my heart strings. Josh got his own storyline, which was long overdue and it left me pretty frustrated and angry but I'm sure it will play out so we get some kind of justice.

Best of all....... Carla is in the episode, we all need a little more Carla.

Almost Perfect

Apart from the forced heteronormativity thrown yet again at Eddie. i really enjoyed this episode. I mean, they created such a wonderful story with Eddie, Chris and Buck, why they don't just go with the flow is beyond me.

It was so great to see Carla again and I enjoyed the story line with Chris and Eddie coming to terms with his son's limitations and as well as his own.

I liked Josh getting a storyline, as he is a really lovely and interesting character. It was sad and infuriating and I hope there is a positive outcome to it. Both in personal terms of Josh finding someone and the two jerks being brought to justice.

I enjoyed everything about the bullet story line as well. It was great to see Danny Nucci, loved the next door neighbor and the story itself was bittersweet.

The framing fo the terrible date was really great and I remember the story it was based on from being mentioned on Big Fat Quiz.

Overall a really great episode despite that little hiccup.

Good stuff

Loved the Josh storyline. It's really satisfying to see the people usually in the background have a moment to shine. This will definitely be an episode people remember.

Entertaining from what it usually is on the show...

Warning: Spoilers
The lazy writing can easily be excused, by that interesting structure. And the closing song I remember hearing on One Tree Hill, and never did elsewhere again. The show looks more and more like Grey's Anatomy, but the preachiness is not as obnoxious as it is there. The part with the woman stuck on the double-wings door window, was funny. But Station 19 already told the story as one of the firefighters anecdotes. So who copied whom? The couple fishing made me laugh too, as I always anticipate the stupidest accidents with these 911 callers. Josh's storyline was my least favorite plot of the episode. It was too clichéd, and didn't help making his character look good, or worth rooting for. The way writers seem to not know what to do with the Eddie character, is a downside of the show lately for me as well. But I still liked this Valentine special. And the rest of the season don't look too bad, and seem to be straying from the annoying politics of episode six.
