This episode starts off seeming like it's going to be a tale of the Charmed Ones and their love interests. Things do quickly seem to move away from that though, not least because suddenly Macy and Harry are the ones dealing with Jordan. Macy is initially quick to jump to conclusions that he's a danger to them, but a twist ending suggests he's an innocent they need to help.
And it's apparently goodbye to Katrina, as Mel gives her enough answers to stop her going crazy but not enough to introduce her to their world. At least it gives Mel a new role.
But the main attraction is the return of Parker, both to the show and to Maggie's life, with a surprising new job. Whilst good, this storyline costs the episode a point for its desperate contrivances. The Charmed Ones find Abigael ridiculously easily in the first place, and then despite her being a danger, Maggie decides to keep her alive just because she's a regular. Okay, Maggie's squeamish about sororicide but how many demons have the Charmed Ones killed in the past? And then we get an ending where, for the second episode running, a welcome development gets overturned.
