How unfortunate. After 3 seasons of good ratings, the numbers tanked in season 4. So comedic gems like this aired to a dwindling audience. Did viewers miss Joseph Kearns? Maybe Jay North seemed too old as Dennis by the final season. Network must have realized a good thing by moving this show to Saturday morning to air reruns. And the rest is history. This short looks like Donovan's Reef at times. It's a great misunderstanding comedy. And dieting always makes for fun. It's a wonder Mr. Wilson gets anything done with a noisy neighbor like Dennis. Then again Dennis won't stand in his friend's way if he can help it.
