I knew this would be a recording of a live show with some interactive parts on the app

I had 2 small excited boys, who were pretty mush ... it was okay.... and I think they were being nice because the Adds on Dan's Channel were misleading in that some questions on an app without any score or result was a let down

Got to be honest the atmosphere at the live show was pretty disappointing and as joke after joke fell flat so did any atmosphere at the cinema

Selling this as a premium live event is a bit cheeky as it really is not

It gets 4 stars from me as we still love Dan TDM, just wont be going to a future show

It was somewhat cheeky of cinemas to charge 'Event' pricing for this *pre-recorded* arena live show from earlier this year.. it wasn't a special live event for cinemas. I kinda resent paying over £11 a ticket.. it'd been much more appropriate to charge standard film prices (and allow you to use money off vouchers, etc).

The interactive portion is simply 10 multi-choice questions over the course of the video.. the app is offline, so means absolutely nothing, and you don't even see your score at the end.

During the (previously live arena) show, kids picked from the audience play some mini-games.. those would have been great to have in the app & left my kids wanting to play them too. That would have really added to the experience.

If this had actually been live and much more interactive (Q&A over the app maybe?, mini-games that contribute to the tribe score, a quiz that actually fed back answers, etc), then I'd have really respected them for pulling it off. If they can do live ballet, musicals and plays, why wasn't this live too?

Overall, it was good for an 6-8yr old.. and the enjoyment quickly tails off the older you get.

Why is everybody calling this the worst thing ever? I mean it's quite obvious that it's a taping of the live show. He said it in his video. Nowhere was it said that this is an actual movie. It's a recorded live show. It's not even that bad of a live show, it's childish, but it meets YouTuber quality standards. Better then every actual movie released by YouTubers. Be glad you didn't just watch Airplane Mode or Smosh: The Movie. Those are atrocious. This is fine. If you're a fan of DanTDM, give it a watch while you still can. If not, don't.

I went in with low expectations, obviously going cos my 8 year old is all about dantdm and was super excited to be going. It was dull. My kid was underwhelmed. L

It was nothing more then you seeing film of his live show and you get to fill out a quiz that is never graded nor has any further interaction with the experience. We got a refund- don't waste you money.

Apparently Dan TDM isn't rich enough from his YouTube earnings. This movie is a recording of a really, really dull live show held in the UK in 2019. There's an app so that we can feel like we're playing along, but the quiz is dumb, the show is boring as all get out & the whole thing comes off as a money making exercise to take $$ off a highly gullible market (ie our kids). It's a useful life lesson for my kids in being taken for a ride; but nothing else.

My 7yo is a huge Dantdm fan. We were really looking forward and excited to see this. However none of us really knew what we were expecting but I dont think we thought it was going to be as bad as it was. My poor boy left almost in tears because he had been excited for weeks and it was such a disappointment. The story line is boring and watching other kids play poor quality games was a total waste of time. The interactive questions that we were answering during the movie was pointless. I really felt like it was a huge waste of money. And now I am not so happy about letting my son watch dantdm anymore.

So my 25 quid bought me and my lad a recording of last year's Dan TDM Glasgow Arena live show, where even the audience on the day looked bored to tears. The interactive app consisted of a series of inane questions, designed presumably to promote this sham as an 'experience' worthy of paying an 'event' premium at Vue Cinema. Seriously, this was the Youtuber equivalent of one of those Winterland Christmas experiences you read in the paper, where you turn up to find Santa slurring his words, the elves smoking whilst checking Facebook on their phones and a dog cocking his leg up against the Christmas tree. Shameful.

I knew it was bad when my son asked me how long we'd been there. It was only 30 minutes in. I sat through this interminable movie, sometimes faded out of consciousness, came back, looked around the theater meeting eyes with other parents, watched tournament game play with what looked like 1990's era PC games, wondered why I was there, alternating between boredom and resentment (referred to as the Jack Johnson effect) and studied the public-access cable quality special FX,

Save your money. By far the worst movie I have ever watched

If you like to jump through hoops under the false impression that your actions are relevant, this is a great show. I felt like a puppet as I coughed up the extra money for the "interactive" experience. I pressed buttons like a lab rat. Fortunately I'll only play the gullible sucker once and wont attend another "interactive" experience. I would have personally made it work with wifi and maybe something like the netflix interactive shows with an audience vote and/or play games for alternate endings or at least a result displayed on your device. I hate being lied to. Next time they should drop the whole "Interactive" thing if they don't know how to make it work.

Look, I don't know about all the bad reviews but this show is good but I recommend watching in YouTube or else bye bye money!

My 8 year old son had spent so long looking forward to this, but left the cinema truly gutted. He felt so disappointed and let down by his YouTube hero, who is clearly profiteering here. It was boring, barely any interaction, just a recording of the live show. Don't waste your time or money!

This was a boring pre-recording of his tour in Glasgow. My two sons were bored to death, they asked me to leave early and I was honestly happy.

I didn't watch this with high expectations, but it was a lot worse than I thought it would be. There was a lot of excitement for a lot of people (not including me), and it just failed horribly.

Watched it with my kid last year and I still remember vividly about the movie. It was so fun during the whole show I was smiling. It was an engaging and exciting show! 10/10
