Reaction / Review for Manifest Season 2 Episode 5: Episode 4 one was great and I gave it a rating of 8.6/10. The episode starts with a flashback which is nice. Adrian gives me such bad vibes. Im glad to see that Jared has a new girlfriend instead of becoming depressed and isolated. It seems like the enemy (Xers) is organized, I like that, I hope we will see more of them, it would be cool and would make the whole show more complex in a good way. Someone from NYPD works for the Xers? That would be cool. Wait, is Jared with the Xers or not? A bit confused. Oh boy Ben becomes the villain to save his daughter. Evil Ben is cool. Overall a great episode, my rating is 8/10.

Good storyline

Warning: Spoilers
Ben daughter became annoying and I already knew Vasquez was gonna turn like that. But those are minor issues, the story is moving on fast, more mystery, can't wait for the next episode.

This is really annoying

All throughout this series lower police ranks AKA "unies" routinely walk over NYPD detectives. They grabbed Griffit in the hospital after Michaela clearly told them she's still interrogating him. Justification? "He's green for transport, so he'll transport". In this episode, a "uni" insults Detective Stone, shoves some piece of paper into her hand and walks away after saying another insult. That's not how it works in NYPD, where detectives are notoriously touchy about their higher status. In reality, those unies would get an earful from the Captain and be told in no gentle terms to respect their superiors or find another job. And "defying authority" remark in their file would make career advancement a ficticious dream.
