Wtf Gabriel?

Warning: Spoilers
His decision makes no sense to me. The best parts of this episode were Indra's scenes, Dyoza and her daughter reunion and Raven&Clarke talk.

Weak adventure filler.

Nakara part is prolonging and feels too relax.

While Indra part is really interesting in sort of characters development. Exploration of many characters.

Bardo part is fun to watch. But the progression on the story isn't really going anywhere.

Dissapointing Filler Episode
ruanstb25 June 2020
After last week's amazing "Welcome To Bardo", which was such a big step up this season, I feel a little let down by this episode. Where last week really pushed the narrative forward, this week it felt like everything that happened in 40 minutes could have easily been resolved in half the time.

It was not bad at all, and the episode had a few brilliant moments nonetheless - especially that cold open which was EXCELLENT!!!

Claven anyone?

Good episode, I especially liked the parts on Nakara and Bardo.

But most important: anyone else got the idea that Clarke and Raven might end up together?

Another weak episode

Warning: Spoilers
"Nakara" was not only a snooze fest of a planet, but it was also a snooze fest of an episode.. There were some great positives: Diyoza's return & her reunion with Hope, Octavia & Levitt reuniting, Clarke & Raven's great emotional scene, & Indra taking command of Wonkru. But the episode as a whole just felt weak. It's not a stretch to say that nothing really happened at all.. it felt like another filler episode. As much as I love JR & Adina's acting, I find myself not being invested at all in Sanctum's storyline in S7. We all know the actual main storyline has to do with the Anomaly & our core group reuniting, so it's hard to really care about boring conflict between characters whom we mostly don't really know over on Sanctum. As for Clarke and the group on Nakara, them going into a cave that actually turned out to be a living organism was quite simply a weird, pointless twist that didn't make much sense at all. We did see that people from the Second Dawn bunker have used the anomaly stone on planet Nakara at some point, which I think will likely end up tying into the back door pilot for the prequel we have coming up!

I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of Clarke and Bellamy this season. Bellamy's absence can be chalked up to Bob requesting some time off, but there is no excuse for sidelining the main character Clarke Griffin in the final season of the show & turning it into a huge ensemble out of nowhere. The main focus has always been on Clarke for the last 6 seasons of The 100, so to switch up now is an absolute travesty.

While I've liked *most* of the episodes this season, only 7x05 really blew me away as being a great episode. I'm really hoping the rest of Season 7 turns up & brings us some incredible episodes/moments, but with 7x07 seemingly centered around only Sanctum & 7x08 being the backdoor pilot, I'm nervous that that might not happen..

not a filler... but not a masterpiece either

Warning: Spoilers
Why can't episode like last week's set an example for all the other ones huh? I'll start with what I liked the less. I feel like since last season, this is all that people have been saying but apparently, the writers never listen so I'll say it again : The Sheidheda storyline is so amazingly boring, to a point where I consider stopping watching the episode live so I can be able to skip through this ocean of boredom, to far more interesting scenes. Although, it is slightly more bearable to watch thanks to the actor's performance along with his creepy/hot voice which really melts perfectly with the vibe of Sheidheda. I'd also like to add, I don't know who wrote this episode, but lines like "tell raven it's bang bang" make me cringe so hard it can't even be funny, like with Riverdale. Now, off to that Clarke and Raven scene : I'll start by saying that I am sick of Clarke being always there to make people feel better about their actions when they never show the same compassion in return. Although, I'll admit that their scene was nice and has definitely been needed for quite some time now, in order for their friendship to move forward. To a much more negative note? I thought the Nakara planet visuals were astonishingly cheap, the lighting seemed fake and the whole planet design felt.. cartoonish? I know it is a cw kind of budget and maybe it's just me, but I even cringed a little when they were walking on that fake ass snow. Don't get me wrong, I did like the spider scene and I thought them being stuck into the cave thing was....entertaining? I just didn't quite understand the point of this little adventure considering that Raven and Clarke could've had their therapy session literally anywhere else. Also, I am not a fan of Miller this season. It seems as though the writers give him witty lines that are supposed to be funny, but I feel like only Murphy could pull these kinds of lines off. And why would he be cracking jokes while being in ridiculously dangerous situations? It ruins the whole realism of the scene for me and this specific character has proved to be way less shallow than that in the past. Overall, I think that, Madi refusing to be the commander, Indra taking control over Wonkru, the Hope and Dyoza reunion, Murphy being the defensor of kids and Dyoza being hella badass in the episode's opening were enjoyable parts of the episode that make it a much more promising one than episode 3, for example. I just feel like this episode was a little bit better than a filler...but still too easily forgettable to be the episode 6 of your final season. I'll finish by the most impactful aspect of the episode : Gabriel going off on echo and him surrendering at the end of the episode really felt like the best choice, as Echo revealed herself to be way more dangerous than helpful lately. Also, Octavia literally telling Dyoza that bellamy is dead with an emotionless tone while Echo is being so extra seems so off. Speaking of Echo, why does she kill everybody she comes across with, including a defenseless grandpa? Are the writers slowly turning her into a villain? They really said "everyone hates her already so let's actually make her act like a psycho so that they can have a reason to" its just so funny to me. Unfortunately, can't say that the actress sells it very well as she hardly displays any emotions on her face at all and unlike Octavia in season 5, I cannot feel her anger, I only see it and it is not enough. To finish this off, Bellamy is yet again being pushed aside. I guess last week's episode really gave me hope but I am disappointed and can't say that next week's promo looks really appealing. Hope I can be proven wrong. Peace

Diyoza is the ultimate bada$$! "Easy peasy, lemon squeezy"
Neptune16516 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The sheidheda crap is soooo boring and unnecessary (at this late stage) and too drawn out for the final season. I wanted him to die the. Entire. Time. Yet another idiotic storyline from these writers🙄 Ditto with the Nikki, Sanctum crap. Diyosa biting that neck. Lmbo Crazy. Remember in a previous episode they were watching Anders speak and Gabriel figured out there was another stone on Earth, my guess even inside the bunker. Indra is carrying the entire sanctum storyline on her back. Echo may have been a little excessive with murdering everyone she's coming across, but at least Diyoza justifies why she kills the old guy. It did feel like a lot of filler in this episode. Yh we got Clarke and Raven have a good heart to heart and I loved that everyone has reunited in Bardo but I feel like a lot of chatter happened. I couldn't care less they were inside some huge organism thing and Sanctum scenes are boring me. We have limited episodes writers! Every episode must count!

Insufferable

This is a completely different show. Too many new characters, and too many different plots going on. Hard to sit through. This finale season is a dumpster fire.

Mystery caves!!!
cruise0126 June 2020
(2 out of 5 stars).

Clarke and her people come across a mysterious planet and its dark strange caves. While Octavia and her group are trying to escape a compound with those time travelling baddies. Boring episode. Cheesy direction. And a script that is lacking any common sense.

The 100 Thinks We Are Dumb
becca793110 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is the third time THIS SEASON that The 100 has had zero faith in its audience, not to mention its characters. HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL THAT WAS NOT A CAVE? Acid? Ever heard of stomach acid? The beginning of the cave was clearly a throat. It's just beyond stupid that they did not figure it out sooner. Beyond.
