A bit of a mixed bag with some jarring switches of tone with regards Lance and Martin:They're generally portrayed as a pair of comic buffoons but their behaviour towards Nico is downright nasty and you're actually left hoping he does lose his temper with them.The scene of Nico and Lynn having breakfast together is sweet but her foolish if well-intentioned interference seems set to cause trouble.Alf's kindness towards Nico is a nice moment than helps cement the character's likability.
The rest of the episode just seems to drift by.The stuff with the band is okay but not great, Celia is randomly nosey and Ailsa gets to tell off Lance and Martin.The scene of Steven trying to teach Carly karate looks like it's going to be a decent comedy idea but then the storyline just vanishes completely.
