A sad case, brought to life rather well.

Banaz Mahmood is missing, newly promoted Detective Caroline Goode believes that something sinister may have happened to her.

DCI Caroline Goode, newly promoted, is an interesting character, I think Keeley Hawes did a wonderful job in bring her to life.

It's a case I remember well, it's very, very sad. This drama focuses more so on The Detective's point of view, rather than the story of the victim.

It's a procedural drama, so don't expect anything to be overdone or sensationalised, in fairness to the writer, she hasn't tried to mask over anything, or dress things up differently from a cultural point of view.

Very solid, worth watching for Keeley alone, 8/10.

A good watch

It's always difficult to dramatise a true story but the emotions grow as the episode progresses and you care about the emotions the officers are going through. Only a two parter unlike some recent true crime stories ITV have shown recently but this is more likely to be about facts rather than a flowered up storyline. Keeley Hawes is impressive.
