Not what I expected
aboalhyjaa21 May 2020
Meh. Thats all i can say for my expectations and in the other hand what ive seen. I dont say it was bad. Im just saying that because this is the last season of the100 we need to see some action, drama and good old thriller like the last seasons. But this episode didn't include any of what ive mentioned. It was actually a bit boring. Hope episode 2 will be better.

Not bad, not great either

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was good but just not as good as some other premiers. Felt like a lot of he time was filler, like Hope Echo and Gabriel just constantly running that seemed endless and took up too much time without exploring anything other than a note in Hopes arm saying "Trust Bellamy" literally gave us no information about the anomaly or anything. Its got the potential to set up to something greater later in the season, but leaving on a good cliff hanger last season and waiting all that time for this seemed pointless. Excited for the rest of the season, hopefully they're a lot better than that.

Just wow

The entire crew and cast keeps on setting my emotions and expectations on high. Wow. Eliza Taylor in this episode gave us an incredible performance. This was also bittersweet cuz it's the beginning of the end, but my god it was amazing.

New world, same problems.

Eliza. Taylor. Morley.

Warning: Spoilers
7x01 is an absolutely insane season premiere! Not even a minute into the episode & Bellamy is knocked unconscious and captured by what we found out to be mysterious soldiers that came out of the anomaly & can make themselves invisible (WTF?!). Octavia is still missing herself & now Bellamy too! Eliza Morley gave an incredible performance this episode, as we saw her try to hide her grief over the loss of Abby. But most notably, the ending. Eliza's performance gave me chills & increased my excitement for 7x02 twofold. 7x01 was an incredible premiere that continues to set up the crazy storyline that is the anomaly, but it makes me really confused on why S7 is the final season. I'm concerned that there won't be enough time to continue setting up all of these plots & give the proper explanations needed for them. That being said, 10/10 season premiere! I just really hope the rest of the season gives us the pay off we deserve!

Side note: According to a Jason Rothenberg interview, the reason for Bellamy's disappearance was because Bob Morley wanted some time off. By the sound of that, it's safe to assume we won't be seeing Bellamy rescued any time soon, & won't see much of him in Season 7 :(

Another side note: Chuku Modu (Gabriel) was such a great addition to the show last season. He is an incredible actor & Gabriel is now one of my favorite characters on the show despite only being around for about one full season so far.

THE BEGINNING OF THE END!!!
paulchristechgod21 May 2020
I had a strong feeling the 100 won't fail after the previous season finale. This isnt the hype talking this episode has managed to surpass that in a phenomenal final season premiere.I saw that the episode count is 16 so if the 100 are bringing 15 more of THIS,they better release it all at once because I don't think I have the energy to wait for 4 or 5 months. The crew is bringing in their best performances yet.A great war is yet to come, and I'm already anxious as to how it will end.Bring on the rest of season 7.

'wE ArE ThE lAsT Of ThE HuMaN RaCE' no you are not, you should know better than to say that Clarke. First they thought they were the last of the human race on the ark then boom the grounders, the grounders thought they were the last of the human race then boom the mountain men, then all of them together thought they were the last of the human race then boom the eligius prisoners, they still thought they were the last of the human race then boom the COB and the sanctum people and now they thought all together they are the last of the human race then boom the anomaly 'invisible' people. Stop thinking about the last of the human race 'cause there seem to be people out there one way or the other.

Why are they ruining Clarke's character arc again? It's not good for the show to have an unlikable lead character not when it's In the series finale. I'm more interested in the anomaly storyline. Hope is well casted.

Kind of a boring start for the final season
cruise0122 May 2020
(3 out of 5 stars).

The first episode is a bit decent. Clarke decisions are questionable. A new threat is on the horizon. I just feel like the script is a bit lazy writing with the lack of development. The new characters are dull. Kind of forgettable.

Warning: Spoilers
Big fan of basically all seasons, however the start of the storyline concerning clarke and Russell I found rather disappointing. Pretty much all the acting of the side characters felt out of place and out of line with the good acting I was used to in the show. I think this has perhaps more to do with the camera shots and directing of the scenes than with the acting actually, not sure. I think the direction they go with gabriel and those weird anomaly guys is pretty interesting though, but the direction of the conflicting communities in Sanctum leaves me a bit annoyed. Especially the sudden behaviour and decisionmaking of Clarke. I hope my opinion can be turned upside down though in the next episodes, as I have felt this way before in some other episodes in other seasons.

I'm over Clarke
User246810 July 2020
It's hard to invest in her character when she doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities. It seems like the decisions she makes are always what she wants without any disregard to others (despite the show making it seem like it's for her people). The end of this episode proves that.

In season 6 episode Raven tells her off very accurately ("...The only difference between you and her is Octavia doesn't pretend to feel bad about it.") and it felt very satisfying. That moment was set up beautifully for Clarke to feel remorse and apologize in some way. Now it's season 7 and I'm still waiting for her to apologize to Raven, lol. All of season 6 most of the characters hated Clarke, but we never got any moment of resolve. Other character's did with other characters, but none with Clarke which is very frustrating.

Season 6 gave Octavia the redemption story that Clarke's character desperately needed. Believe me, I wanted to root for Clarke's character, but because the show runner's haven't given me any depth to the decisions that Clarke makes other than she's just selfish makes it hard for her to be likable.

The acting, cinematography, and environment painted a good start to the final season. Eliza Taylor truly shined in this episode and I can't wait to see how she performs in the next 15 episodes. I'm excited to see where the anomaly leads and where the three will end up.

I'm getting worried.
mdb-065301 February 2024
I see why the ratings for this last season are a bit lower then the other seasons. So Clarke is finally mourning her mom by taking out her revenge on Russell.

The season is off to a bad start, new "clans", not sure who stands for what and they are all living under one roof so to speak. Although our regular cast of characters seem to be living one big house, as if they were on the Jersey Shore.

Also, how exactly is it possible for the bad Commander to enter Russell's body? Is it because Russell still has chip or something in his neck?

Watching Indra walk around a regular house though while still talking like a warrior is kind of funny. The "picnic" scene was also a bit out of place, but I guess the show is trying to convey a sense of normalcy. Do none of the care where Bellamy, Echo and Octavia went? This whole series always has someone looking for someone else, not this time though.

WE ARE THE LAST OF THE HUMAN RAZE!!!!!
shoterstone10 January 2022
Whit that line I confirm my suppose. This is one of the best episodes of the series, and one of the best ever.

Begging just right after the finale of season six, we know more about the anomaly and more about the people of Sanctum, now divided in three sections, the children of Gabriel in one side, skycru in other side and the followers of the primes in the last side, that last ones are the one that I hate the most.

New characters appears, Hope Diyoza is one of them and OMG, she was amazing, we barely know her, and the things we know are amazing, but in the other side Trey, another new character, was the one that I hate, really hate the most. God, he was hateble in every single second he appears. I hope he dies.

But in general, was an AMAZING EPISODE. Let's hope the other will be more amazing than this one.

Clarke can't live without violence tf was she thinking lol

Warning: Spoilers
For me the show ended on season 5. This season really put a stain on what had been a really good show until that point. But well, you must finish the journey I guess enjoy? This season ruined a lot of moments i was waiting to see since s1. She can't see them, so she's shooting in front of her while she runs forward just in case anyone or anything is in front. It's called clearing the way. Quite smart of her considering she saw Bellamy get dragged away by something invisible and she got knocked on her butt by something invisible rofl. Echo was shooting to clear a path which you would have heard if you didn't talk over the sceneπŸ™„. Bob Morley wanted to take a break and isn't included in some episodes I think. And usually the trailers are only about the first few episodes and so I don't get why people are complaining. Of course I'm afraid too about what happened to him but there's nothing we can do, just wait and watch the show. Indra and Gaia forgave Clarke for betraying them few times, Clarke forgave Murphy, it's the "new beginning" they should forgive, it's the best option. I don't know about stopping now, if do that, she'll show that she can't lead cause she can't deliver, after palace is burned(by mistake)and she presented her terms, there is no going back.

How the heck was that house built and furnished with tons of stuff when they're in the middle of nowhere?!

Warning: Spoilers
Madi knows she's not a commander, they're only lying to Wonkru I think. I'm a big fan of the 100 but was extremely disappointed in the premiere of season 7. I feel like the story line is all over the place and predictable at this point. There were a couple of interesting things with the anomaly. It drives me crazy that they have not learned their lesson when it comes to leaving enemies alive. It wasn't very engaging. The writing for Clarke kept getting worse n worse. 1 thing i didn't get about Indra, her daughter n the grounders is the commander she like give it up we been through to much n yall still look for a commander like just go on with ya own life n be happy and then the commander spot was useless after lexa cuss everybody and they momma can be it easy πŸ˜’ n then every other season here go Indra and her daughter "we need a commander" I was over the show by this point so I did not watch this season live. I binged all the episodes before the finale. I was determined to just finish the show, because I hate leaving shows in the middle, but I did not really enjoy it. However, if you go into not having expectations, then its not so bad. There is only 1 thing I absolutely hated about the season, but besides that I found it somewhat decent. This was def. One of the weakest premieres imo and I didn't feel like a lot happened. I didn't enjoy seeing only 30 seconds of Bellamy either. With that said, the best part of the episode for me was the Echo/Hope/Gabriel scenes. I enjoyed watching them far more than watching what was happening in Sanctum. Clarke going crazy at the end was fun though. And I'm glad to see that Raven seems somewhat normal again.

Missing in Action
notar-312321 June 2020
The 100 should have ended at the end of S5. At least there will be no S8. This was a show that started off well with good storylines but like many shows it ran too long and kept rehashing similar storylines with slightly different themes.. A pity..
