Shameless: Adios Gringos (2019)
Baby change?
Is it me or does the baby that Frank is trying to sell change actors? When Frank is eating room service with Liam the baby in the stroller looks old enough to walk, but later on in the scene with all of them in the bed sleeping the baby looks like it can barely crawl.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: One World, One People (2021)
Sam was right...
After reading some of these reviews, it looks like he was right when he said that millions of people would hate him every time he picked up that shield. And to everyone saying they shouldn't have made this political, it's been political since episode 1. Karli's whole storyline was political. The Flag Smashers: a group to change the current state of the government's ideology. And Sam defended Karli's cause to the senators and urged them to be better about the decisions they make to have a more unified country; spoken with honest hope & true inspiration, like Captain America.
Don't listen to the haters, this episode was impactful from the visuals to the storyline. Amazing season finale!
Kim's Convenience: Janet's Boyfriend (2017)
Sweet Appa
Throughout the series thus far the relationship between Appa and Janet is funny and sweet. This episode you really get to see the depth of how much Appa cares for his only daughter. Brought tears to my eyes. Actors did really well this episode. :*)
Kim's Convenience: Family Singing Contest (2016)
Unexpected tears
Didn't think this show would get me so emotional, but aside from the simple hearted comedy, I love the dynamics of the family's relationships with each other. Very relatable & can hit home to so many people who have struggled with their own relationships with their parents. The last 10 min had my eyes sweating like no other. Loved this season finale <3.
Schitt$ Creek: Life Is a Cabaret (2019)
Moira <3
Seeing Moira's awestruck look towards another character is so genuine it leads me to believe it's really Catherine feeling that emotion rather than the character. First time I saw this was her reaction to Patrick singing to David. Low and behold I learned that Catherine O'Hara couldn't stop crying during that scene which makes me believe the tears she had for Emily playing Stevie playing Sally in this episode were genuinely real. These eyes were certainly not dry as well. Great season finale!!
Schitt$ Creek: The Hospies (2019)
Ending :*)
That beautiful gesture at the end from Moira is one of the many beautiful curveballs this show bestows upon you. This episode, among many, is one that can make you laugh and well up tears at the same time.
Virgin River: Out of the Past (2020)
Hope!!!
If you've gotten this far and you're like me you'll understand how much Hope's character has been a little hard to connect with, but this episode really brought some redeeming qualities out of her and now I'm left feeling bad that I disliked her in the first place.
The Crown: Coup (2019)
Porchey
So after the recast for this season, why is that the new cast seems significantly older yet Porchey's character looks the same age as in season 1-2? xD
Ratched: Ice Pick (2020)
Father Andrews
First we see him in a wheelchair, then he's standing up walking to the bed. I'm confused, lol. Great episode overall though; you get to see more dynamics from Mildred's character, especially her vulnerable side.
Dark: Die Überlebenden (2020)
Relations...
So basically...
...Martha has dated her nephew (Jonas) and half cousin (Bartosz). Poor girl, lol.
The 100: From the Ashes (2020)
I'm over Clarke
It's hard to invest in her character when she doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities. It seems like the decisions she makes are always what she wants without any disregard to others (despite the show making it seem like it's for her people). The end of this episode proves that.
In season 6 episode Raven tells her off very accurately ("...The only difference between you and her is Octavia doesn't pretend to feel bad about it.") and it felt very satisfying. That moment was set up beautifully for Clarke to feel remorse and apologize in some way. Now it's season 7 and I'm still waiting for her to apologize to Raven, lol. All of season 6 most of the characters hated Clarke, but we never got any moment of resolve. Other character's did with other characters, but none with Clarke which is very frustrating.
Season 6 gave Octavia the redemption story that Clarke's character desperately needed. Believe me, I wanted to root for Clarke's character, but because the show runner's haven't given me any depth to the decisions that Clarke makes other than she's just selfish makes it hard for her to be likable.
