Popeye and Olive Oyl are visiting this spooky mansion on top of a hill. Inside, professor Mueller has just finished his pet robot who he names "Irving, the Mad Monster."
Irving immediately falls for Olive and takes her. The professor yells, "Irving, be a good boy." Popeye yells, "Yeah, watch your manners, Mr. Monsker!" Olive asks, "Let me down, Oiving." Popeye yells, "Brings back me Olive. It's the only goil I gots."
Popeye and the robot duke it out for most of the rest of the cartoon, with Irving slightly ahead. Olive asks Mr. Mad Mueller if he has any spinach in the house, and you can guess the rest. Actually, you would probably guess wrong, as I did. This had an unexpected - and clever - ending.
