A good episode with double duty for Thayer David playing both Sandor and Victor Fenn Gibbon.
Magda hears three knocks at the door, it is Sandor. He falls dead with a knife in his back. Magda realizes this is the curse put on her by the spirit of Julianka, everyone she loved will die. The only other one could be Jenny's son, Magda rushes to see him.
Magda and Barnabas bury Sandor. In an interesting scene Magda threatens to kill Barnabas in his coffin. She even offers her neck saying "Bite me! Bite me now! Make me your slave!" Barnabas says he will not harm her.
Quentin has a gun and sees Victor and Aristede talking. He now knows they are in cahoots with each other. When Aristede leaves, Quentin holds Victor at gunpoint and wants answers.
Later a somber scene when Magda comes to Quentin and Barnabas. Quentin learns that he had a son and daughter and his son is now dead. Barnabas realizes there is a connection to Chris Jennings.
