A good suspenseful episode, a nice showcase for Nancy Barrett, as Charity Trask is the dominant character here.
Edward confronts Charity in the old house basement. He sees the marks on her throat and knows she is in the vampire's power. He takes her back to Trask's school.
We see Barnabas in Charity's room, he hides behind the curtains when Nora comes in. Edward, Trask and Charity come in, Nora is sent to her room.
Trask tries to get Charity to pray and repent, she sees Barnabas behind the curtain. She tries to get her father out of the room. He finally leaves when Nora is heard screaming, frightened by a bat.
Barnabas finds the soil from his grave but we are never told how or where he hides, since dawn is breaking.
A great final scene has Barnabas biting Charity and Nora seeing it.
