Little everyday tragedies Warning: Spoilers
One of the most marvellous aspects of animation isn't only the way in which this medium is able to create all kinds of unique, impossible worlds, but how it also has the possibility to make us to see reality under a different lens.

Take for example this series of psychological shorts, focused in everyday life "tragedies" (Whether they are small disagreements or frustrations) The series could have been easily done in live-action, yet the animation style used here (reminiscent of the artistic works of Picasso and Modigliani) gives the stories a beautiful, surreal touch that adds them a very special dimension.

Animation has the possibility of turning even the most ordinary tales into a fantastic spectacle, akin to dreams in motion. If only more filmmakers were able to appreciate these qualities instead of dismissing the medium entirely...
