Huh?!? I still am in shock after seeing THE PURPLE ZONE--a short film that is now featured for viewing on IMDb. I am confused because after seeing it I have no idea what it was nor am I exactly sure whether this was a serious film or a comedy. It is funny and if they didn't intend this, then that is very sad--and I do think they did NOT mean for this to be a comedy.
The film consists of an older man and lady who are apparently gods named "Spark"(?) and "Popsicle"(?) standing in a smoky black room talking about "making purple zones" and "female empowerment". I think it was trying to say something about feminism or something philosophical, but all I could think of was how poorly written and pointless the whole thing seemed. Maybe it's just me, so if you don't believe me give it a watch and then PLEASE try to explain to me what it's all about and why the film isn't a total waste of time because of its sense of self-importance.
