In the first cartoon feature of this series featuring "Tarzan and the City of Gold", they 'sort of' followed the story from the first half of the novel. Doing a second episode based there would have been a great opportunity to do the last half of the novel. Did they do that?
No, and I doubt they even considered it. Instead they have a young runaway encounter Tarzan, and when Tarzen seeks to return him home he runs into the same old problems with the queen from the first episode.
I honestly had trouble paying attention to the story here, it was so thin. But at least we did get to hear Lurch again. LOL.
