I adore the show and I'm so happy I found it. I've always liked Joan, and began watching because "Ialso like food." What a nice and entertaining surprise I've found. The show has a feeling about it it that speaks to those of us who are foodies, but not snobby about it. It's never pedantic, chi chi or so sterile I'm feeling as if I'm going to be graded at the end! Its fun, spontaneous, and real. I feel like I could visit every place he has and not be intimidated by the food or the people. I'm really looking forward to her traveling to hopefully Asia, Australia, Africa.....all the A's. I also think it would be a blast for her to hit the US, and some of the cuisine that really hasn't been explored like the Amish "can you see Joan with the Amish?!" Good job Joan.
