This is a much calmer episode than the last two, but still intriguing things going on.
David and Amy go back to the west wing, Amy tells David that his aunt Elizabeth is not really dead, probably told that by Quentin who is heard laughing. David and Amy talk about something Quentin told them to do, but we are not told what it is. Maggie and Mrs. Johnson pack up Vicky's things including Josette's music box.
We find out that Roger has not been told about Elizabeth and Barnabas tells Mrs. Johnson (and reminds us) about Elizabeth will and burial plans for the mausoleum. A man from a funeral home arrives but Barnabas says no one sent for him. We find out David made the call on Quentin's orders.
Barnabas plans to take David and Amy on a trip to Boston with Maggie, he also wants them to go to boarding school there, they pretend to agree.
They go back to the west wing calling for Quentin, Maggie searches for them. They suddenly are in the drawing room, Amy playing London Bridge on the piano (reminiscent of ghost girl Sarah). The kids are happy they could fool Maggie, setting up an interesting dynamic between them.
Vicky's things suddenly re appear in Maggie's room, making Mrs. Johnson think it is a sign Vicky will return.
