100 YEARS OF HORROR is a 26-episode TV series made in 1996 and featuring the delightful Christopher Lee as host, his sonorous narration exploring the history of horror cinema in the 20th century. Each themed episode contains plentiful clips from the films mentioned along with brief interview footage seemingly culled from other documentaries as well as TV shows and the like.
GIRL GHOULS is the flip side of the coin from the previous 100 YEARS OF HORROR episode, SCREAM QUEENS. This time around, female villains are discussed, and there are clips and trailer footage from some rare early horrors that I hadn't heard of, including DAUGHTER OF DR. JEKYLL and CRY OF THE WEREWOLF. Barbara Shelley and Hammer are well-represented, and Brinke Stevens is back again with clips from THE HAUNTING FEAR used to illustrate her career.
