Before commercial pressures led him to make a series of so-called "blockbusters" for Wicked Pictures, Brad Armstrong established himself as a creative craftsman with many small-scale films. This Sydnee Steele vehicle is a perfect example of the merits of the earlier approach.
Story is deceptively simple, but told with great assurance and care. Brad is complaining to his local bartender about the difficulty of finding the right woman when beautiful Sydnee sits down next to him and starts a conversation on the subject. Her tales of how three guys who were best friends and boastful womanizers all found the perfect match is engrossing and benefits from the clever gambit of Sydnee starring in each flashback as the perfect woman for each guy. Their earlier conquests are depicted by a well-chosen set of extremely sexy beauties including Miko Lee, T.J. Hart, Kristal Summers and Nikita Denise.
This use of multiple roles is a fine device for centering the action on the Wicked girl that the film is based around, and Steele underplays perfectly, fitting each role believably and generating considerable audience identification by film's end.

It is not delivered in a nasty way but rather satisfying to see these guys finally get their comeuppance, when they gather at the same bar to meet their pals' dream girls and find out it's Sydnee for all three.
Acting is solid throughout, with the surprise that despite his high billing upfront, Brad is only here in a non-sex role for a change. This bit of storytelling with hot, hot sex throughout is a great little riposte to the hordes of fans today who reject Adult story-line porn completely in favor of all-sex.
