After a little break, the Collins family gets a nice return to the forefront with Elizabeth, David and Carolyn getting some air time. There's even the ghostly Sarah, telling David that is a that there's more to Dr. Woodard's death then what has been said. Call Carolyn comforts David over his confusion, and they have a discussion over pending doom that nobody can stop. Burke and Elizabeth discuss his decision for Victoria and him to live in their own house rather than the additional Wing at Collinsport, and David comes down to say goodbye as if it was farewell.
Another episode that is only available in black and white, and possibly Burke's last appearance on screen. It certainly is his most important episode in a long time. It's spooky because it's a foreshadowing of future things to come, and even Victoria seems to believe that David could be right. There's some nice moments between cousins Carolyn and David where she tells him about herown invisible friend when she was a girl, and David insists that Sarah is real. The wailing of the wind in the final scene adds more eerie elements to the episode, one the spookiest episodes to not evolve Barnabas in a long time.
