Plenty of drama

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 327 is a drama-fuelled one which features most if not all of the major players in one form or another. A harried David is once again the focus here, exploring his relationship with the ghostly Sarah while at the same time trying to avoid the clutches of the sinister Dr Hoffman. As ever, the vengeful presence of Barnabas Collins is lurking just out of sight...

Ghostly child, not a ghastly one.

Warning: Spoilers
It has become obvious that Sarah returned to Collinwood as a ghost to protect young David, ghostly child protecting living child, and that makes her a special spirit. It is obvious that only Sarah through the power that she has over her vampire brother Barnabas can prevent him from hurting others, using guilt to keep him in control. Julia's efforts to hypnotize David failed, and later Barnabas reveals that Willie may recover which causes great concern. Maybe Julia can sneak in there and hypnotize him!

But this episode surrounds David and Burke and Sarah, with David telling Burke that Sarah is a ghost and Sarah warning him not to return to the old house. Her protection is touching, showing a vulnerable little girl who died far too young and probably would have been a tragic heroine rather than a tragic child. A good episode that gives us a little bit more indication of past tragedies and promise of good things yet to come.
