Disbelief and a kill list
Leofwine_draca11 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 326 is another David-focused one, as he goes out of his way in an attempt to convince disbelieving adults of the bad things going on. Elsewhere, Barnabas adds yet another name to his endless kill list, while the dry ice is all around and the sets looking better than ever (it helps that this episode survives in colour rather than the drab black-and-white of the previous existing episode).

Julia becomes bad again... to save David's life.
mark.waltz12 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
With Elizabeth and Victoria nervous about David's nightmare, Julia steps in to help, planning to hypnotize him like she did with Maggie so he'll forget everything he knows. Elizabeth is frightened by a drawing that David does of Barnabas' tomb, and when Julia goes in, David appears to recognize her from his dream. Julia obviously has good intentions but her methods are very questionable, obviously intending to protect Barnabas at all costs yet saving lives in the process.

I love the fact that Julia is very much a contradiction in many ways, doing some very manipulative and crafty things to protect a creature of the night yet going out of her way to make sure he doesn't kill anybody unnecessarily. Elizabeth is impressed by Julia's claim that she knows something about child psychology and agrees to let her talk to David, but it's obviously not going to work because Julia now has been added to the list of people David does not trust. A very fun episode that shows great teamwork between veteran actress Grayson Hall and the young David Henessy.
