That's Sam Evans response to Laura when they greet each other for the first time and she tells him that he hasn't changed. That's one rare chuckle in a rather dour episode that has other members of the community outside the Collins family discovering her return. Burke is the one to break the news to Sam first, telling him that this is the beginning of the end for both him and Rodger, that is if he can find Laura. She doesn't really seem to want to see Burke however, and the camera focused on Millay expresses the secrets of a woman with an agenda outside just wanting her son back. When Burke does arrive, the look on his face is a combination of release and resentment.

The set-up of a three month story cycle (with more of Laura in the distant future) is very intriguing, and what the show does very well is not to allow certain characters to overstay their welcome, much like the mystery soap "The Edge of Night".

Sometimes those short-term characters end up being more memorable than some of the long-term characters, and it's fascinating to watch their storylines climb up the graph only to quickly descend. While it's obvious where certain stories will go, the various fingers of the plot line that extend to other stories are the ones that become even more intriguing. This storyline has the potential to do just that, and while an explanatory episode, not one filled with action, it does feature enough Intrigue, particularly Sam's return to his painting of Laura.

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 133 is another with Laura as the focus, although this one feels very slow and drawn out. Sam comes back and is once more given plenty of screen time to little effect, although Burke is always a welcome presence.
