Romaine Fielding is responsible for the writing and the producing of this two-reel drama. The most refreshing thing about the picture is Mr. Carlson as impersonated by the author-producer. The story of Mr. Carlson's adventures, and also his love affair, are interesting in themselves but it is the personality of the title role gentleman that does most for the play. Vinnie Burns demonstrates her right to become Mrs. Carlson. - The Moving Picture World, April 24, 1915
