Spirtual Legue
hellraiser729 March 2018
This episode is another honorable mention in my book. It's a rather unique episode as it's sports themed, and it's on the game Baseball which is cool since that's one of my favorate sports I love to watch.

The only bad thing about the episodes are Ray, Egon, and Peter don't really get to do much. It would of been cool if they got to participate in the game but oh well, Winston is the main hero in this so can't complain there.

Other than that everything else is really good. I think it's a cool concept seeing both good and evil spirts playing baseball. I even like the designs of the ghosts for both the good and evil teams whom are all unique, sort of remind me of the roster from the "Mutant Legue" video games. Just seeing this makes me wonder why a video game on this concept hasn't been made or better yet another sequel for the "Mutant Legue" franchise.

I even like the design of the baseball field which is otherworldly even the bases themselves are weard since their monsterous faces, never got the purpose of that. And the game was fun to watch and suspenseful as it's a game they all play for keeps as the salvation of one soul is in the balance. It's fun and kinda funny seeing the evil team utilizing cheating tactics as well as each team playing the game in a unique way. From seeing one of the evil team cast a spell on the flying ball and turning into multiple balls, another using illusionary decoys to misdirect the opposing players. Or let alone seeing that new pitcher whom is a humanioid elephant that shoots out baseballs with it's snout at mock speed; I'd hate to think what would happen if any of those balls it shoots out hit anyone, they really look like they could kill somebody.

The name of the game in this episode is sportsmanship. I really like that despite how much of an advantage the evil team had the good team didn't give up and kept up the fair play which eventual prevailed. Sure the evil team was able to get a few innings ahead, however cheating doesn't gurentee a win, as an old saying goes cheaters never prosper.

Winston was defenantly the right candidate for the game as he's not just a baseball fan but loves the game for what it is win or lose. He is a fan of a team called "the Jaguars" whom have been in losing streak central and have stayed there every since; yeah there actually are sports fans that have a fandom for teams that don't have the most innings. But to Winston it doesn't matter as long as the team gave it it's best which is what really counts in any sport, putting in the effort to win.
