This is one of my least favorite episodes in the series. Director John Kelly fails to create any suspense or excitement and the pace of this episode is slow and plodding.
Worse yet this episode features a lot of Zoony, a character I find annoying at best. Zoony has progressed to saying "Follow Me" instead of just "Welcome home." yet Steve needs his help to defeat this 2-man cult of sun worshipers.
Even the continuity is bad. I wondered why Steve would go into the bad guy's headquarters unarmed and then suddenly in the next shot he's shown with his ray gun.
If you're new to Fireball XL5 don't judge the series by this episode. It's one of the weakest in the series.
