Melanie Upfoot plays Frances McDormand, and her being kissed at the end by Superintendent Chalmers reminded me of the infamous kiss that the Spanish football chief gate on the lips to the female footballer. Anyway, Girls Just Want to Have Sums has a superb opening with a send-up of Spamelot and The Lion King which was hilarious.
All credit to the additional vocals by Amick Byram, James Gilstrap, Bob Joyce, Sally Stevens and Oren Waters.
The second half was a bit too one-sided and not satirical enough, with Lisa's impersonation of a male student not getting enough mileage. I loved the line at the end, "We've been Yentled!"
