Bus

Although Eric Sykes had a disdain of comedians being political. Here is an early version of a privatised bus service. Very much in line with Eric Sykes free market views.

No I have not yet been on a bus like this and buses were deregulated in the mid 1980s. Still very much a miserable experience.

After months of training Eric qualifies as a bus driver with Hattie as the conductor.

By offering a bespoke and personalised service that includes seat reservations and music. Theirs is the most popular bus route and the customers are flocking in. Much to the annoyance of the bus depot manager.

Eric even boasts that once he sorts the bus service out, he will start on the trains next.

Deryck Guyler not only plays Corky but his cousin as well who also works for the buses. He finally has an idea to give Eric a promotion to keep him away from driving a bus.
