  • In one scene Chuck is in a surgery bed and then he gets out of the blanket. Skiff says that's a weird place for his antenna a penis joke
  • Mild to moderate jokes throughout.
  • Alien guard at base 9 is looking at a magazine and it shows an alien as Marilyn Monroe in her classic white dress pose and her whistles at it. Suggestive.

Violence & Gore

  • Alien brains are shown in jars after an implied brain removal surgery.
  • A male alien tries to dance with a girl but ends up getting pushed.
  • All the violence in this movie is cartoon violence.
  • At the very beginning, an odd-looking alien astronaut, descended from a spaceship, starts firing with a laser-like beam from his only head-sized eye on what it is believed to be Earthmen. Explosions are visible and some characters are disintegrated, but it is later revealed that it was an alien-produced science fiction film and the spectator acknowledges that the men in the film were actually not human, but rather Planet 51 natives.
  • Throughout the film characters are shot at.
  • Creatures fire at each other then are electrocuted.
  • An alien lizard/bug is squashed.

Profanity

  • One use of "Ass" as lem tries to say "astronaut"

  • Title refers to Area 51, if u do, spider will come to you tonight and eat u for dinner.
  • The opening scene with the alien invasion could be considered by some children to be a scary.

  • Lem tells Chuck about Neera. Chuck shows Lem how to dance. But then is about to kiss Lem. A gay joke in the movie.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man in a spacesuit walks into a fierce fire to save an alien. Though the scene is meant to heroize the astronaut, it may be a frightening or at least impressing to some people.
  • The human astronaut is tied to a bed and then an alien scientist is approaching the head of the astronaut with a noisy electric disc saw in order to remove his brain.
