Jeff Axtman hits a home run
planktonrules2 February 2009
Wow--it's hard to imagine that the guy who wrote and directed this short film has never done any other films! Considering that this is his lone entry on IMDb, Jeff Axtman has done an incredible job---a job even more experienced directors and writers would be proud to call their own.

The film starts with an emotionally disturbed man wandering into a small restaurant. The waitress who sees him is far from thrilled, as this man talks to himself and looks pretty crazy. However, Beatrix the waitress isn't the least bit afraid and sits with him throughout her shift connecting with this sad and lonely man. Then comes the twist--which I'll say nothing about because it would ruin the film.

Overall, an exceptionally well made film with a cast who do a great job despite their inexperience as well. I sure hope some important people with lots of spare cash see this film and give these folks jobs making other films--I sure would enjoy seeing more.
