This is one of my favorite episodes. In Season 5..... yes, Season 5, there are 4 consecutive episodes that may be as good as any 4 consecutive episodes you'll find in the series. (The Night of the Roper's, Double Trouble, Dying to Meet You and The Case of the Missing Blonde).
Anyhow Furley believes that his niece coming over for a visit is going to report his inept building management skills to his brother Bart. RF figures if he can find a ladies man to distract his niece Veronica and she won't even notice his lack of skill. Jack wouldn't fit the bill in RF's eyes.
Upon seeing Veronica, Jack is very interested. Jack makes up a twin brother Austin....from Texas, of course, and the chaos is about to begin. Austin is Jack in a cowboy hat.
I won't spoil anymore but the pace is frenetic while Furley has a little party at the kids apartment to show his appreciation for what Austin/Jack did by distracting Veronica. Jack is going to need his best footwork to pull this off.
While not quite the pace of "Upstairs, Downstairs, Downstairs" in the Season 5 premiere, this show is pretty close and extremely entertaining. Remember it's farce and it's not supposed to be plausible....but it sure Is funny.
