Great to see Joel Sonnenberg finding a role
prentz24 February 2014
My wife knew the Sonnenberg family while we lived in Nyack, NY. I had taken pictures of Joel about a year before the accident. It was quite the surprise to see him in the role of Joel Finch in this episode- and felt he did a great job! We've always like the series anyway, so it was really fun to see him in it! In this episode Joel plays the role of a burn victim of a terrorist group that has to fight his desire for revenge of those that caused him so much pain, something he had to do in his personal life as he was very badly burned at the young age of 22 months old. The drunk driver that caused his personal suffering escaped justice for years. When finally caught, Joel was able to release his personal hatred for that truck driver, at the sentencing hearing.

The only weak spot, as I recall, was something about cholesterol numbers for one of the characters and a mix up in records. Otherwise a well done story.

Joel Sonnenberg stars in this episode.

Joel Sonnenberg is a Christian motivational speaker, and he plays a pivotal role in this episode of Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye. I discovered F.B. Eye only recently, and it's one of those gems that was first broadcast in the aughts that has gained a new audience one decade later. Maybe there can be a reunion movie or reboot in these pandemic times.
