One Last Trick is a gritty episode! More like an Miami Vice episode then Streets. There is a double murder and Homicide thus Dan and Mike get involved. There is a wall built around a prostitutions ring. A former call girl goes back into deep cover for revenge. Dan is deeply bothered! A convention of the old boys going into San Francisco go into town and get some female entertainment. Times sure have changed. Hard to explain to the kids why mom caught a strange disease back in the day. Well this episode has some real life grit. There is a nasty arrest! I guess gritty script was trying to replace the lose of Douglas. 6 stars. Entertaining.

An off duty cop is killed which leads Stone and Robbins to a high class prostitution ring.
A pretty good episode. The dead cop was the boyfriend to one of the call girls. When she is killed too, her friend and ex call girl Carol Revson wants to help the police. Lee Purcell gives a good performance as Carol, she was a striking beauty with porcelain skin and sensuous lips. The next year she would play a witch in the TV movie Summer Of Fear opposite Linda Blair.
