Episode 54 begins with a celebration for Dutch at the Tates, where the alien Burt tries to figure out which of Chester's daughters is "the hot one," ending up rejecting a punch from Chester, which winds up knocking out the unlucky Dutch(The Major calls an end to the mens leave with a gunshot).Millie(Candice Azzara making her final appearance)decides she no longer wants to marry Danny, after witnessing all the craziness ending with The Major, who believes she gave him "some funny foreign thing," throwing a pineapple out of the window("hit the dirt everybody,it's a grenade!") Luckily, the ensuing explosion turns out to be the gas main down the street(Jessica thought it was the pineapple).Billy finally joins Leslie in her apartment, only to meet her condescending ex-husband Charlie Walker(Kip Gilman),who confuses the kid for a pizza boy. When the gallant Billy shows off his(phony)karate skills, the bully is compelled to leave("he actually bought it! Usually they just beat the living hell out of me!") Spending a day at the park,Jodie and Corinne agree to help each other with the child rearing.Alien Burt refuses to give up the good life on Earth, forcing his brethren to beam up the real Burt instead; unfortunately, they chose the exact moment when he was trying to explain the facts to a baffled Mary, who watches her husband disappear, concluding that he can,as he said before, make himself invisible! (The endearing Cathryn Damon's hilarious reactions in these scenes are simply adorable).A welcome addition to the series,Jack Gilford bows out as Saul.
