Episode 66 introduces Roscoe Lee Browne as Saunders

Episode 66 begins with Burt and Mary enjoying the hospitality of Danny and Polly's new home, despite the antics of a neighborhood apparently full of pyromaniacs(the one couple that welcomes them admit they can't stay because they "should go back and put out the fire" in their living room).Dining at an expensive restaurant,an enchanted Leslie informs Billy that she's told her parents about their relationship; when he tells her they can't see each other any more, she faints in her fettuccine, then vows that she will kill herself when she gets home(dousing herself with food and wine before leaving).Burt,Mary,Chuck and Bob fear the loss of little Wendy, whose protective father Jodie vows never to let her go.The Tate household welcomes a new butler,Saunders(Roscoe Lee Browne),a distinguished connoisseur whose gourmet dinner is interrupted by a suicidal Leslie(trying to slit her throat with a spoon),and a disguised Major(whose camouflage is foiled by caterpillars).Waiting on the election results in the Tate living room,Saunders is introduced to the Campbells(and asks Dr.Posner if he has group rates),during which The Major mistakes him for Jesse Owens(!),and Jessica suddenly collapses,to be taken to the hospital.Browne was a welcome addition to the series, and a worthy successor to Robert Guillaume's Benson.
