Goldie Hawn makes one more appearance on this edition of "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In"
tavm29 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Well, when Goldie Hawn returns having won the Oscar for Cactus Flower, she shows the statue in front of Dan & Dick (who she still gets mixed up) and acts condescendingly to her former fellow cast members and the newbies. But then she gets doused with water and she's back to her old self again! During the "news" theme, she keeps forgetting the words! And she once again introes Dan for the "news of the future" segment though he has to remind her that part is no more. Historically, Lily Tomlin's Edith Ann says, "And that's the truth, thppppt!" for the first time though she's still talking from a cardboard box at this point. Goldie and newbies Barbara Sharma and Nancie Phillips play nuns in one recurring skit doing amusing one-liners. Oh, and the Joke Wall returns! And for one last topper, Wolfgang has a charmingly funny banter with Goldie about her being related to Attila the Hun! This turned to be the last time Ms. Hawn appeared on the program so it's a good note for her to leave on.
