Here begins the most involving soap opera aspect, having to do with Billy and who is almost completely Wes' girl in Ramona, played by Penny Peyser, and before the triangle the three hit a club, and things get colorful and splashed with hippie music and dancing, the opposite of the old fashion crooner that Billy got back into the studio as his producer-climbing continues while Rudy romances his female lawyer and William Smith's Falconetti, fit with a new eyeball, is like a caged beast ready to strike...
This episode is directed by Bill Bixby, who played, or more like, overplayed Willy, who was married to Susan Blakely and his son is Billy so, when that actor's on screen at the episode's end, Bixby's name is shown... a nice touch.
