It Doesn't Wash
Hitchcoc11 March 2023
A perky young woman, staying at the Stratford, is jilted on her wedding day by her fiancee. She is stunned and broke. She decides to stay and look for work. The only place available is the Minuteman Cafe run by Larry and the Darryls. She is pretty and accepting and soon the two Darryl's begin to fight over her. Larry does what he can to bring peace. It turns out she is attracted, but to Darryl, not the brothers. Dick is doing what he can to keep her from being Larry's conquest. I think the problem for me is her kissing Larry. We never see this side of those guys and as long as it's played for humor, it works. Maybe, at this point, they are showing up too much. The subplot is George waging a campaign against Michael who dropped "Barnaby Jones" from the TV lineup. It gets pretty ugly.

A waitress falls for Larry
Jimmy_the_Gent423 April 2018
A woman jilted by her fiancee gets a job at the Minuteman Cafe, at first the Darryls fall for her, but she prefers Larry.

A funny episode with the Darryls first at war with each other, with a scene where they ominously circle each other. Then they turn on Larry, pelting him with fruit salad. An even funnier subplot has Michael replacing reruns of "Barnaby Jones" with his new show "Life Styles Of The Solid Platinum Dancers". George organizes a protest to get Barnaby back on the air.
