While walking through the park, Nanny (Juliet Mills), Butch (Trent Lehman) and Prudence (Kim Richards) run across a dilapidated fountain. Park Custodian Osgood Finchley (Eddie Foy Jr.) tells Nanny that it's too far gone to repair and may be torn down soon. Nanny goes to Park Commissioner Lorillard Atwood (familiar character actor James Millhollin) without success. She decides to raise the funds to save the fountain she and the children stage an entertainment show.
