Murphy falls in love in this episode, and it's not with a human adult. She's thrilled by tests that revealed that the baby is absolutely healthy, but when she discovers that it isn't the gender that she was expecting, she's a bit conflicted. Jim escorts her to the clinic where the dizzy receptionist ("Kay'?") has her really frustrated and begging the other people waiting ahead of her to be able to go first. This leads to a very funny scene where another expecting patient Mother Love declares in very blunt terms why she is not going to let Murphy jump in front of the queue. Jim, at first horrified by the goings on in the fertility clinic, becomes fascinated by all the goings on and can't get enough of it, a complete twist to how he started going off about how uncomfortable he felt when they first arrived. There's a very funny joke concerning her gynecologist, and of course, Corky gets in on the fun by being blatantly loud about something that Murphy wanted kept discreetly quiet. The secretary of the week is delightfully schizophrenic, one of the best of the series, and that's a difficult list of nut jobs to choose from.
