This episode from the Muppet Show number 7 from season 3 Oct. 28, 1978 was one good Halloween themed one as it featured the creepy and weird different rock heavy metal star Alice Cooper! It was like a nightmare arrived on the set as Kermit and the gang all had shivers and fright like scary little moments as backstage in between skits and takes Mr. Cooper had a devilish like game in which he wanted to buy out and sell the souls of anyone who crossed his path! Performed was his signature hit song "Welcome to my Nightmare"! Overall this was a different and scary creepy like mature themed episode due to the attitude and nature of the guest. Clearly it is one of the most memorable ones.
