Theater Wars

The Hubbards and the Buells desperately want theater tickets to a popular show.

Funny episode as the Hubbards get two tickets sent to them anonymously. The Buells convince them it's burglars who sent them and will rob them when they go to the show. This follows with funny scenes as they go back and forth at the theater seats. Joe Besser shows up as a whiny theater goer.

Tickets, people who want tickets....

Warning: Spoilers
The 60's were filled with a ton of blockbuster musicals so rather than single it down to either "Dolly" or "Fiddler" or "Mame", they give it a fictional name ("Charisma"), although Kay does sing a few bars of "People" from "Funny Girl" while trying to pretend she's Barbra Streisand. Ironically a pair of tickets shows up at Eve and Herb's door, and the jealous Buells convince them that it's a ploy to rob the house. But when they find out the truth, the Hubbards sneak to the theater and manipulate their seats back, causing a major disturbance with the Buelles. Teri Garr plays one of the ushers, and Joe Besser plays a very funny but annoyed patrons. The situation is really silly but anyone who's ever been to the theater and had to deal with annoying audience members will find this an amusing alternative to really experiencing rude people. Neither of the couples comes out favorable but each of them gets what they deserve.
